What makes Zlatni Rat unique? Stretching roughly 500 metres into the Adriatic, this natural horn subtly shifts direction depending on wind and currents — meaning the beach literally changes shape during the day.

Zlatni Rat sits beside the town of Bol (home to a few thousand residents), with restaurants, konobas and cafés nearby — and because your day is fully customisable, you can also choose to explore Bol itself.

A fun local detail: it’s common for the sea to feel noticeably colder on one side of the horn than the other — guests love testing it with a quick swim across.

While Zlatni Rat is fantastic for swimming, paddleboarding and relaxed coffee stops, we usually recommend avoiding full meals here — most waterfront spots are classic tourist traps.

The best move: enjoy the water, soak up the view, grab a simple drink — then continue the Golden Tour at your own pace.

12:30
Blue Lagoon (Zečevo)
A protected turquoise lagoon between Brač and Hvar — calm even on windy days and ideal for an easy swim or a relaxed drink by the water.

Lunch in Jelsa (Hvar)
A calm harbour town made for a slow waterfront walk, a proper lunch, and an easy reset before the next swim stop.
Recommended: Me & Mrs Jones (reliable quality + great vibe).

Why Jelsa works perfectly as a lunch stop: it’s a sheltered harbour town with an easy, walkable waterfront and a relaxed “Mediterranean pause” energy — ideal for a private tour rhythm. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
You’re docking next to the town centre (the main square / “Pjaca”), so everything you need is close: restaurants, cafés, gelato, a quick pharmacy/ATM stop if needed — without the chaos of bigger party ports.
Local scale (so it feels authentic): the Jelsa municipality has roughly ~3.5k residents (the biggest city on northern part of island Hvar), which is exactly why it still feels calm and “real.”
Concierge tip: If you want the “best version” of Jelsa, do a 10–15 min stroll after lunch: waterfront → main square → one quick coffee in the shade. It turns a meal stop into a little travel moment.
Ordering strategy: Keep lunch light (fish/pasta/salad) so you still feel great for the next swim. If you want a longer town feel, we can slow the pace — the route is fully customizable.

Soline Beach (Hvar)
Only 5 minutes speedboat drive from Jelsa there is calm, shallow bay with that “walk-in, float, forget the time” feeling — Soline is the kind of beach that makes you swear the Adriatic has its own filter.

Hidden Bay Studena (Brač)
One final hidden stop that gently breaks the cruise back toward Makarska — Studena Bay is known for a rare Adriatic phenomenon where fresh spring water mixes with the sea, creating subtle temperature layers you can actually feel while swimming.
